There are numerous things to do on New Year’s Eve in the Gainesville, VA area.  Below you will find both family fun events as well as adult only events.

Family Fun 

Almost NYE party at the Skate-n-Fun Zone– 7878 Sudley Rd, Manassas 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm  Admission $12 or $39.99 for one adult + 3 additional admissions.  Balloon drop at 2pm! Souvenier cup with one fill up, all you can eat pizza, and party favors included. Skate         rental an additional $4.50pp

 

Walking Dead party at the Skate-n-Fun Zone- 7878 Sudley Rd, Manassas – 17:00 pm to 1:00 am  Admission $22 or $74.99 for one adult + 3 additional admissions.  Balloon drop at midnight! Souvenier cup with one fill up, all you can eat pizza, and party favors included.       Skate rental an additional $4.50pp.  Dress up like a zombie and receive 12 free admissions!!

 

First Night Alexandria. VA. Ring in the New Year with a celebration with entertainment for all ages. Musical performances will be held inside Old Town Alexandria’s historic buildings and many events will be held at the Masonic Temple on Callahan Drive. At Midnight, celebrate the New Year while watching the beautiful fireworks display over the Potomac River.  Tickets $30, 12 and under free. 7pm to Midnight.

 

First Night Vienna. VA The alcohol-free celebration features an evening of food, entertainment, music, plus hands-on activities for children and adults. This is a free event with an assortment of local food trucks, give-aways for kids, and more. 6pm to Midnight  Free

 

First Night Falls Church, VA. The family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration features a variety of entertainment, performances and interactive activities. The evening concludes with a New Year’s countdown and lowering of the historic star that first lit the Falls Church sky in 1948 – the year Falls Church became an independent city. 7pm to midnight  Free

 

First Night Warrenton, VA  – A New Year’s Community Celebration of the Arts welcoming Warrenton and Fauquier families, friends, visitors, and neighbors. A non-profit alcohol-free event. Entertainment for the whole family, including jazz, puppet shows, bluegrass, folk music, dancing, storytelling, rock & roll and more! Witness the Grand Illumination in front of the Old Fauquier Courthouse at midnight. 7pm – 12am Adult $10, Senior $8, Ages 3 – 12 $5

 

First Night Winchester, VA The event brings the community together with multiple stages featuring live entertainment throughout the evening. Performances include folk, jazz, bluegrass, oldies, puppet shows, kids events and more.  Local restaurants are open and offer discounts in First Taste of Winchester. At midnight, participants welcome in the New Year with the official “Apple Drop” and midnight fireworks display.  $10, Children 10 and under free.

 

First Night Fredericksburg, VA. The whole family will enjoy an evening of live performances by local and regional artists performed in historic churches, business and the streets of downtown Fredericksburg. The festivities end with a midnight celebration to welcome the New Year. Free

Adult Fun

Bar Louie, 14081 Promenade Commons St, Gainesville

Tickets are $15 and gets you VIP access which includes: Breakfast Buffet from 12am-2am and Champagne Toast at Midnight!  Tickets must be purchased at the restaurant.

 

Uptown Alley, 8300 Sudley Rd, Manassas

8:00pm to 1:00am   Cover charge $10.  Live music at 9:30 Balloon drop at Midnight with prizes and giveaways.  Entertainment Package: 2 drinks, 1 game of bowling, 1 game of Laser Tag $25.  VIP Package:  2 drinks, 1 game of bowling, 2 games of Laser Tag, access to VIP Lounge and private bar, Hors d’oeuvres 8pm to 11pm, $10 game card $50.

 

Mariachis. 9428 Battle Street, Manassas

Mariachi Son de America will be playing the tunes while you enjoy a three-course dinner and drinks.  Champagne toast at midnight!  Two seatings:  7pm to 9pm ($55) and 9pm to 12am ($65)

 

Okra’s, 9110 Center Street, Manassas

Tickets include an all you can eat buffet with all your favorite Cajun treats – Voodoo Chicken Bites, Cajun Deviled Eggs, Fried Okra, Penne New Orleans, Gumbo, Cornbread, Jambalaya, and Desserts.  Live Music – Chuggalug will be rockin’ till the ball drops!
